"All the things she'd heard anyone say they wish they'd been taught as a kid."
After receiving her Master's Degree in Counseling and Human Systems and her Specialist Degree in Education, Cathryn followed her heart and love of children into a career in school counseling. She worked for twelve years as a school counselor at a community-run charter school in north Florida, where she designed a unique guidance and counseling program based on "all the things she had ever heard anyone say they wish they had been taught when they were a kid."
While investigating how to support — as efficiently and effectively as possible — the multiple social-emotional and behavioral challenges she witnessed in students, Cathryn came across a body of research that would change the course of her career: the impacts of mindfulness practices. She began teaching mindfulness to the children, and was thrilled by the results she, the other teachers, and parents witnessed.
She became obsessed with the interconnectedness of wellness, optimal learning conditions, and mindfulness — and returned to Florida State University to earn an additional degree in Educational Psychology. Since then, she has consulted for multiple organizations across the fields of education, incarceration, and LGBTQIA advocacy.

"To educate, empower, and evolve — supporting the functional wellness of people and the organizations they build."
We believe that wellness is not a destination but a continuous practice — one that requires the right knowledge, the right environment, and the right leadership to sustain.
Our Values
The principles that guide every program, every conversation, and every relationship we build.
Evidence-Based Practice
Every program, assessment, and recommendation is grounded in peer-reviewed research and established psychological principles — not trends.
Nature-Centered
We draw constant inspiration from nature's patterns of growth, resilience, and renewal — weaving natural wisdom into everything we teach.
Human-First
Metrics matter, but people matter more. Our work centers the lived experience of individuals — with genuine warmth, respect, and care.
Holistic Approach
Wellness is not a single variable — it is an interconnected system. We address every dimension simultaneously, rather than in isolation.
A Complete System for Functional Wellness
The Lo-Key Framework is the foundation of everything we do. Rather than addressing wellness as a collection of isolated programs, the framework presents five interconnected domains that together form a complete picture of organizational and personal health.
Each domain strengthens the others. Leadership shapes culture. Culture shapes environment. Environment shapes equilibrium. And all of it feeds ongoing growth — an ever-deepening spiral of capability and wellbeing.
The Perfect Daughter
Cathryn's autobiographical novel — a deeply personal exploration of the experiences, insights, and turning points that shaped her philosophy of wellness, growth, and human potential.
"The stories we carry shape the help we give. This is mine."
